Summer Vacation Part 2: Indiana Cousins {Indiana Family Photographer}

My cousin Jeff and his wife Jessica invited us over for refreshments a couple weeks ago while we were in Indiana. The weather was just perfect as we all enjoyed the night on their beautiful patio with yummy food and great conversation.

While we adults caught up, my daughter Alden enjoyed watering the garden with their son Douwe (which is my grandfather's name in Dutch). Our son Stephen Jr. (of course) preferred hanging out with a close family friend of theirs. Thanks, Steve, for entertaining our almost 6 year old!

I remember following their backyard renovations on Jessica's blog a while back, so it was a real treat to sit outside and enjoy it with their family. Coupled with yummy homemade gourmet goodies and good old-fashioned catching up, it was one of the highlights of our vacation.

Thanks so much for your hospitality, guys! (Up north people say "Guys" in place of "Y'all" - just in case you're wondering.)
